Every Sunday Meridian Hill Park transforms from a majestic D.C. landmark to a live performance space starring a drummers circle, dancers, acrobats and so much more. Enjoy a relaxed picnic-style event as you enjoy the sound of drum beats, the smell of incense and connecting with like-minded women. This a kid friendly event so bring the little ones!

What to Bring:

• Blanket
• Food/Snacks/Beverages (Non-Alcoholic)
• Instruments (Drums, flute, tambourine etc.)
• Games/Books

Location: Meridian Hill Park, Corner 16th and W Streets, NW (We will gather in the upper level of the park at the top of the stairs near the statue of Joan of Arc.)

Parking: Free street parking available.

Metro: S2/S4 Bus to 16th and Euclid St. The closest metro is the Green Line, Columbia Heights.

Join us for a game of beach volleyball! Yes we said "beach volleyball" at DC's only outdoor sand volleyball courts. All playing levels welcome. Don’t want to play? That’s fine by us. Bring a blanket, picnic basket and watch the fun from the sidelines. And bring the little ones.

MAP TO LOCATION

Location: Rock Creek Park Trails, Washington, DC 20037. The courts are in inbetween the Kennedy Center and Lincoln Memorial.

Meeting place: Look for the purple balloons and ZOOM sign. On weekends the courts are first come/first serve so our actual court location and start time will vary.

Parking: Free street parking available.

Metro: Blue/Orange to Foggy Bottom or Rossyln.

Bike-friendly.

Note: Shoes are optional for beach volleyball. Bring water for hydration. Alcohol is not permitted on memorial grounds. In the case of inclement weather the event will be rescheduled.

Join us for the awesome event as ZOOM goes river tubing! Tubing is a fun relaxed way to enjoy the scenic view of our local country woods. Bring comfortable clothes, snacks and drinks as we glide along the serene waters. This a kid friendly event so bring the little ones!

Note: Depending on the weather the route is 1-3 hours. Safety gear will be provided to all tubers. You are welcome to bring alcoholic beverages and drink responsibly.

Join us as we play kickball on the mall! DC's favorite pastime just so happens to be a favorite childhood game we all can play. Even if you don't play you're welcome to come and watch the fun from the sidelines. For official rules of the game click here.
